5.4.1.3 (Optional) Replacing an Electric Heater

Step 1 Hold down

Step 2 Open the front door, and turn off the indoor unit circuit breaker and circuit breaker in the
power distribution cabinet.
Step 3 Use diagonal pliers to cut off the cable tie that secures the temperature sensor to separate the
temperature sensor from the mesh cover of the electric heater.
Step 4 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws that secure the mesh cover of the electric
heater, as shown by (1) in

Step 5 Use diagonal pliers to cut off the cable tie that secures the electric heater cables, and remove
the signal cable terminal on the left of the electric heater.
Step 6 Remove the power cable terminal on the right of the electric heater from the electric heater
contactor, and pull out the cable from the top.

An electric heater needs to be replaced.
A spare electric heater of the same model is available and functional.
