EAN‐13 Beginning with 378/379 Add‐On Code Required
Require Add‐On Code: All EAN‐13 barcodes that begin with a "378" or "379" must have a 2‐digit or 5‐digit add‐on code. The
EAN‐13 barcode with the add‐on code is then transmitted. If the required add‐on code is not found, the EAN‐13 barcode is
discarded.
Do Not Require Add‐On Code: If you have selected Require Add‐On Code, and you want to disable this feature, scan Do Not
Require Add‐On Code. EAN‐13 barcodes are handled, depending on your selection for the "Add‐On Code Required" feature.

EAN‐13 Beginning with 414/419 Add‐On Code Required
This setting programs the scanner to require an add‐on code (2‐digit or 5‐digit) on EAN‐13 barcodes that begin with a "414" or
"419". The following settings can be programmed:
Require Add‐On Code: All EAN‐13 barcodes that begin with a "414" or "419" must have a 2‐digit or 5‐digit add‐on code. The
EAN‐13 barcode with the add‐on code is then transmitted. If the required add‐on code is not found, the EAN‐13 barcode is
