    Preface Introduction This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up and using the NLS-HR32 series corded 2D barcode scanner NLS-HR3250-XX (hereinafter referred to as ―HR32 corded scanner‖). Chapter Description  Chapter 1, Getting Started : Gives a general description of HR32 corded scanner including its technical parameters.

    The HR32 corded scanner reads a 1D or 2D barcode by capturing its image. Adopting the advanced technology independently developed by Newland Auto-ID Tech, it provides users with three scan modes, including Manual Mode, Sense Mode and Continuous Mode, tailored to different scanning needs.

    Use RS-232 Cable Fig. 1-4 Connect the HR32 corded scanner to a Host through a RS-232 cable with RJ45, RS-232 and power connectors: Plug the RJ45 connector into the data port (see Fig.1-1) on the HR32 corded scanner. Plug the RS-232 connector into the RS-232 port on the Host. Connect the supplied power adaptor to the power connector of the RS-232 cable.
