If you have extended the EDS library as described
above, you will not require any special configuration
specifications for the CPV valve terminal. These specifi-
cations are an integral part of the EDS file and are
identical for all CPV valve terminals with direct connec-
tion type CPV...-GE-DN-8.
If you wish to set the transmission mode yourself with
the dialogue window Edit I/O Parameters, select only
the communication type Polled. Select the entry Every
Scan as the poll rate .
Enter the number of input and output bytes as Polled
Size . That is two bytes each for the CPV valve terminal
(see section 2.1.2 ).
