Adding a CPV valve terminal offline
1. Double click the entry "Valve terminal" in the slave
list and then "Festo Corporation." This will open the
selection list for the available Festo valve terminals.
2. Pull the entry "CPV-DNET-8" into the network range
at the same time pressing down the right-hand
mouse button.
Then release the mouse button. The dialogue window
"Edit Device from ..." will then appear.
PLEASE NOTE
The entry "Festo Corporation" or "CPV-DNET-8" is
only listed if the EDS library has already been ex-
tended.
3. Select the set node address (0...63) in the dialogue
window "Edit Device from..." and confirm the selec-
tion with OK. The bitmap for the CPV valve terminal
installed in the EDS library can then be seen in the
project window.
The CPV valve terminal with direct connection is now a
network slave. It can now be assigned to the desired
DeviceNet Scanner as described in the following sec-
tion.
