2. Commissioning

In order to assign a DeviceNet slave to a scanner, you

can proceed as follows:

• Click the appropriate bitmap in the project window

and pull it on to the desired scanner by pressing

down the left-hand mouse button. Then release the

mouse button. The coloured frame and the number

at the edge of the frame indicate the scanner to

which the slave is assigned.
