4.3 Spider PCB (transponder settings)
To change the settings of the SpiderPCB, go to parameters. For example the settings of the transponders and antennas.

Go to Maintenance and sign in as admin. See chapter 7.5.2.1.

Go to Settings -> configuration SpiderPCB and select tab "Parameters".
The submenus and the steps to be completed during installation are explained below.
4.3.1 Updating firmware
The Spider PCB has software (firmware) programmed into it. When "Update firmware" is selected, the firmware version on the
Carrierboard is compared to the version on the Spider PCB. If the version on the Carrierboard is newer, the firmware will be
updated to the latest version. Complete this after a Spider update.
4.3.2 Tag Tuning
Tag Tuning is used to automatically programme a SpiderPCB's RFID settings; every SpiderPCB must be configured separately.
With Tag Tuning, all transponder settings are set correctly, and all connected antennas are properly adjusted.
(see chapter 5 for floor antenna).
Configure transponder:

Place any transponder used by this customer on
the first connected antenna.

If the old (120 kHz) Responder by Nedap is
used, move the jumper on the SpiderPCB to
Nold.

Keep the transponder 5-8 cm away from the
antenna during Tag Tuning.

Click on "Tag Tuning" and then on "Normal".

Wait until the Tag Tuning process is complete;
the app will switch to the next screen. This
screen shows which settings have been
changed. The settings are further explained in 4.3.6.
If the reading distance is insufficient, repeat the process, but select "Extended" instead of "Normal".
Attention! Do not use RFID interfering materials to realize the 7 hours between the TAG and antenna
