4.4.8 Replacing the TEC04C

Prerequisites


Context
You need only to disconnect the power cable from the TCUA, instead of the AC input to the
power system.
Procedure
Step 1 Disconnect the power supply to the TCUA, and record the cable information.

Step 2 Cut off the cable ties of the temperature sensor on the TEC fan and remove the sensor.
Step 3 Remove the TEC04C.

Reconnect the cables to the TCUA based on the recorded information.
Switch on the TCUA circuit breaker on the DC PDU.
Prepare an ESD wrist strap, a pair of ESD gloves, an ESD box or bag, the cabinet door
key, and tools.
Check that the new TEC04C is intact.
Connect the ground cable for the ESD wrist strap, and wear the ESD wrist strap and ESD
gloves.
Switch off the TCUA circuit breaker on the DC PDU.
Disconnect the power cable from the TCUA.
Record the positions of signal cables on the TCUA, and then disconnect the signal
cables.
Unscrew and remove the TCUA.
Record the positions where the TEC04C power cable and signal cables connect to the
TCUA control board, and disconnect the cables.
Unscrew and remove the cover from the cabinet door, as shown in Figure 4-17.
