6.1 Introduction

The tester can be controlled remotely by PC for data transmission through RS232 or GPIB
(IEEE 488-1978) interface.

The table below lists the Tester's reaction to the following interface messages:

SDC Selected Device Clear It clears the selected device.

It switches the Tester to Local mode.
It is prohibited to use ENTER to switch to Local mode.
It clears the GPIB interface.
