The following figure gives an example on conneting the WaveStar

Before establishing a connection via this connection type, an entry in the WaveStar
CIT address list has to be created, containing the TID and the TCP/IP address for the
NE. After that a seperate view has to be created for the NE.
Important! When IP traffic is enabled for a LAN port of the NE (see section
Procedure 7-5: "LAN port configuration for TCP/IP access" (p.
will not respond to a ping unless also the TTD function is enabled. In order to be
able to ping the NE you need to have a LAN provisioned for IP and the TTD
function enabled.
