TROUBLESHOOTING

In case of unwanted reactions of the door, verify whether the problem is caused by the sensor or the door controller.
To do so, activate the service mode (no safety) and launch a door cycle.
If the door cycle is completed successfully, check the sensor. If not, verify the door controller or wiring.
The RED or GREEN
LED is ON sporadicly
or permanently.
The sensor does not
react at power-on.
The sensor does not
react.
The ORANGE LED is
on permanently.
The ORANGE LED
flashes quickly.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 1 x
1
every 3 seconds.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 2 x
2
every 3 seconds.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 3 x
3
every 3 seconds.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 4 x
4
every 3 seconds.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 5 x
5
every 3 seconds.
The ORANGE LED
flashes 6 x

every 3 seconds.
It is not possible to
adjust a setting by
remote control.
The remote control
does not react.
Bad teach-in
Unwanted detection
Inverted power supply
Test error
The service mode is
activated.
The sensor encounters a
memory problem.
DIP-switch setting
awaiting confirmation.
The sensor signals an
internal fault.
Power supply is out of limit.
Internal temperature is too
high.
Communication error
No laser beam is coming
back to the sensor.
An object close to the
sensor is masking part of
the detection area.
Teach-in error
Faulty measurements of
door position.
Wrong DIP-switch position.
The sensor is protected by
a password.

Launch a new teach-in (closed door).
Deactivate pinch zone (DIP 4 off) to check which

detection zone causes the detections.

Make sure the flexible cable does not cause detections.

Check changes in the environment.

Check wiring (green +, brown -).
Check tension between red and blue wires.

Press the push button during at least 2 seconds to
exit the service mode.
Send the sensor back for a technical check-up.

Corfirm the DIP-switch setting: long push on the

push button.

Cut and restore power supply.

If orange LED flashes again, replace sensor.
Check power supply (tension, capacity).

Reduce the cable length or change cable.

Protect the sensor from any heat source (sun, hot air...)

Check wiring between master and slave modules.

Check wiring between interface card and laser head.
Change background setting if necessary (DIP 3).

Make sure the window is not scratched.

Remove all masking objects.

Change anti-masking setting if necessary.

Clean window with damp cloth.

Check whether all teach-in requirements are fulfilled.

Launch a new teach-in (closed door).
Normally the door will try to close.

Activate and deactivate service mode and launch a
door opening cycle.
Cut power supply and restore it once the door is fully

closed.

Adjust the required DIP-switches to ON.

Enter the right password. If you forgot the code, cut
and restore the power supply to access the sensor
without entering a password during 1 minute.
