When the user selects a command line and presses Enter, the command speci-
fied on that line is executed.
Note: You can include blank lines in a menu.
3. Configure a user to the menu. For example:
set user name=fred menu=1 DefaultAccess=menu
Removing a user
To remove a user's login and associated information from PortServer II, enter the fol-
lowing command:
set user rmuser=<user_name>
For example, to remove the user called Peter, enter:
set user rmuser=Peter
You can also remove several users by specifying a range of index numbers:
set user rmuser=on range=<range>
You can identify the range of index numbers to use from the User Table. To view the
User Table, enter set user with no options.

Changing a user's name
To change a user's name without affecting other definitions such as the password,
enter the following command:
set user newname=<newusername> name=<oldusername>
For example, to change Peter to Linda, enter:
set user newname=Linda name=Peter
