5.3 How to set Pnet slave I/F module parameter
To use Profibus-DP slave module, you have to register high-speed link parameter using
SoftMaster-NM.
High–Speed link parameter setting
Step

In the SoftMaster Window, click Tools > Network Manager.
The SoftMaster NM window appears.

Choose File > New.
The New NM Project dialog box appears.

Enter the NM Project name and select the other details as per requirement,
and click OK.
The NM project with the specified name appears in the Project Window.

From the Project Window, click the Standard settings and select the base

Parameter is saved in flash memory permanently.
Emergency parameter is applied when communication with master is not
normal.
Emergency output data is not maintained when power is off. If the power
is turned OFF and ON when the emergency output is set as HOLD, it
leads to an error, and the emergency output data is not saved.
Communication may stop if you download parameter, read I/O, and
synchronize I/O during communication.
