Alarm sources
The possible alarm activators of the VideoJet 1000 (alarm input and
video signal monitoring) can be configured.
Video loss alarm:
Select here the option On if the unit is to activate an alarm when the
video signal is interrupted.
Alarm on min. contrast:
The VideoJet 1000 can trigger an alarm in case the camera picture
shows only little contrasts, e.g. when the lens was sprayed with
color or covered. Choose the option On to activate this function.
Motion alarm:
Select here the option On if the unit is to activate an alarm when the
motion alarm is triggered.
The configuration of the motion detector can be done on a separate
page (see page 101).
Alarm input 1:
Select here the option On in order to activate the alarming by
means of an external alarm sensor. Otherwise select Off.
In addition, it is also possible to select if the alarm is to be activated
by a Active high or Active low voltage level.
Enter into the text field a designation for the alarm input which will
then be displayed onscreen if an alarm is activated.
