It should be realised that universal joints are enclosed beneath the shaft tunnel,
and that they require lubrication occasionally through holes suitably provided.

The tubular propeller
shaft has purposely been disconnected from the axle t o indicate the flange fitting; access t o
the batteries and rear axle filler and dipstick can easily be obtained under the rear seat.
