ADJUSTING HEADSET RINGER
TONE VOLUME
You can adjust the ringer tone volume for a headset in
an idle or a busy state.
Note:
To pass a ringer tone through the headset,
enable "Headset Ring" from the Settings of
Menu screen. For the details, refer to
For
Setting".
Note:
Ringer tone volume can be adjusted only for a
wired headset connected to the terminal headset
connector.
Note:
Ringer tone volume in busy state cannot be
changed when the ringer tone is set to come from
both the speaker and the headset. For details,
contact the system administrator.
To Adjust the Ringer Tone Volume in Idle
Status
STEP 1: Press the Headset key while in idle status to
switch from headset mode to handset mode,
and the Headset key lamp turns off.
STEP 2: Receives a call from another line.
STEP 3: Press the Up/Down (
tone is on.
For Ringer Tone Volume in Busy Status
If other lines are accommodated in the telephone as a
subline, the ring tone volume of a subline call received
while being in the middle of a call through the headset
will be lower than usual.

Note:
When you receive another call during a call
through the headset, the ringer tone volume for
other lines in headset mode can be set to the
same level as the normal two-way call. For
details, contact the system administrator.
HOW TO USE THE WIRELESS
HEADSET
When using Wireless Headset, you can answer a call,
conduct a conversation, or disconnect the call with
hooking operations. Here explains about the terminal
operation using Wireless Headset.
Note:
The Call control button of Wireless Headset
must be programmed in advance. For the pro-
gramming of the Call control button, contact the
system administrator.
Note:
For details on how to connect a telephone and
Wireless Headset, see the manual attached to
the Wireless Headset.
To Answer a Call
STEP 1: Press the Call control button of the Wireless
Headset while the ringing tone is on, and the
Call control button lights red. Depending on
the installation phase, you can answer the
call by pressing
control button.
STEP 2: Press the Call control button to end the call,
and the Call control button turns off.
