The following illustration shows the pin-number assignments for the keyboard
connector on the end of the cable.

Remote Supervisor Adapter communication ports

The server has four communication ports that are used by the Remote Supervisor
Adapter. Three of the ports are located on the adapter and one is located at the
lower left corner of the rear panel (as viewed from the rear).
If you want to use the Remote Supervisor Adapter to manage the server remotely
or to connect the server to another server, connect the appropriate cables to the
Remote Supervisor Adapter ports.
To enable remote server management through a network, use the Remote
Supervisor Adapter Ethernet port (RJ-45). To enable remote server management
using a modem, use the Remote Supervisor Adapter serial port. To connect the
server with another server, use the ASM interconnect port (RJ-14). See the Remote
Supervisor Adapter documentation on the IBM Documentation CD for more
information.
