If the batteries are too weak, the relevant
error code will be displayed. If the batteries
are so weak that a restart is triggered several times
in succession without any signals being success-
fully transmitted in between, nothing more will be
transmitted during subsequent transmission
attempts. The LED will then only light up red for
0.5 seconds.
If the headlight flasher sensor has already
been taught in to a central control unit, it
is blocked for direct teach-in. Although teach-in
mode can be activated, when an operating button
is pressed the status LED lights up red for two sec-
onds to signal that the device has left this mode.
If a different system security key from the
one supplied with the product is active, it is
not possible to perform a reset to the initial state on
the device itself. The reset can only be performed
using the configuration software for the HomeMatic
central control unit. The procedure to follow is
described in the manual for the central control unit
software.
