To teach in, proceed as follows:
• Switch the HomeMatic component to be taught in
to teach-in mode.
• Briefly press the teach-in button on the headlight
flasher sensor (Config). The device will enter con-
figuration mode. The status LED will flash green
to indicate this.
• Then press the operating button (1 or 2) for the
channel on which teaching-in is to be performed.
The status LED will now flash orange and the
device will enter teach-in mode.
• Once the component being taught in has con-
firmed that teaching-in has been carried out, the
status LED on the headlight flasher sensor will
light up green. This concludes the teaching-in
process.
• To exit configuration or teach-in mode, you can
either press the teach-in button (Config) again or
wait 20 seconds. The status LED will light up red
once you have exited this mode.
If the headlight flasher sensor has already
been taught in to a central control unit, it is
blocked for direct teach-in (see Section 11).
