7.2 Installation in a vehicle

• Once you have found an appropriate installation
location, you need to determine which wire is the
correct one. Most German vehicle manufacturers
(except BMW) use the same wire colour scheme
(see Table 1), so you can immediately identify
which wire you need based on its colour. Alterna-
tively, you can search for the required wire using
an indicator lamp.
