The headlight flasher sensor can also be
connected to an indicator light. For safety
reasons, you should not choose any frequently-used
flashing sequences for opening garage doors. This
will prevent the headlight flasher sensor from
sending signals unintentionally during driving.
The central locking mechanism is taught in using the
indicator light. Here, you should set the tolerance by
means of entering the flashing sequence a second time
(see above). As the flashing sequence barely changes
when the central locking mechanism is activated for
a second time, the tolerance level is very low. This
prevents the headlight flasher sensor from sending any
signals when you use the indicator light during driving.
If the status LED remains green throughout the
entire process, this means the sensor has not
detected the flashing sequence. Check that the wire
loop is positioned correctly around the sensor (i.e. in
close contact with it) and that you have used the
correct wire. It may be necessary to twist the wire
around the sensor again.
The tolerance can also be adjusted at a later
point. To do this, repeat the procedure
