Function

The HomeMatic headlight flasher sensor contact-
lessly evaluates a programmable number of electric-
al DC pulses in wires and controls a HomeMatic
actuator or the HomeMatic central control unit when
a previously taught-in pulse sequence is detected.
For example, this enables a HomeMatic actuator to
be addressed by means of evaluating the headlight
flasher signals of a car, so that an electrical garage
door can be opened or closed. For advanced users,
it is also possible for the visual acknowledgement
signals of the car to be evaluated during operation
of the central locking mechanism, thus enabling
the garage to be opened and closed by means of
vehicle remote control. A second switching channel
allows additional actions to be performed, such as
switching exterior lights on and off.
The radio sensor has two separate HomeMatic
switching channels, which configure a directly
taught-in actuator as follows:
• Channel 1: 1 second ON time
(pushbutton function)
• Channel 2: 3 minutes ON time
