Resetting to the initial state

To reset the headlight flasher sensor to the initial
state, proceed as follows:
• Press and hold down the teach-in button for
more than four seconds. The status LED starts to
slowly flash red.
• To reset the headlight flasher sensor, now press
and hold the teach-in button for at least another
four seconds. The LED will now start to flash red
faster. If you want to cancel the reset procedure,
you can either press the teach-in button briefly or
wait for 15 seconds. In both cases, the red flash-
ing will stop.
• Release the button. This completes the reset
process. To confirm that resetting has been
carried out, the LED will light up red for around
three seconds.
If the LED lights up red permanently after the
teach-in button has been held down for four
seconds, the headlight flasher sensor can only be
reset using the configuration software for the central
control unit (see Section 11).
