tolerance level relates to 50% of the shortest pause
or the shortest pulse.
Example of tolerance value
Let us assume that you have set the following
flashing sequence:
Pulse 1:
Headlight flasher on (1.5 seconds)
Pause 1:
No headlight flasher signal (1 second)
Pulse 2:
Headlight flasher on (1.2 seconds)
The tolerance is 50% of the shortest pulse or short-
est pause. The shortest value is pause 1, which is 1
second long, so the tolerance value is 0.5 seconds.
The flashing sequence and tolerance may be
set and changed directly using the device or
the channel parameters of the HomeMatic Web UI.
When the device is working in conjunction with a
HomeMatic central control unit, it should be within
the wireless range when the flashing sequence is
being set, as the updated channel parameters are
transferred to the unit immediately.
To set the tolerance value manually, proceed as
follows:
• Wait four seconds after the most recent instance
