5. Connect the cables. See the correct tightening torques in

Connect the phase conductors of the DC supply cable and of the motor cable, and the conductors of the brake resistor cable
into the correct terminals.
•
FR4/FI4, FR5: Attach the grounding conductor of each cable to a grounding terminal with a grounding clamp for grounding
conductor. Use the grounding terminals delivered in the accessories bag.

FR6/FI6: Attach the grounding conductor of each cable to a grounding terminal with a grounding clamp for grounding
conductor. Use the grounding clamps and the screws delivered in the accessories bag.
6. Make sure to connect the grounding conductor to the motor and the terminals that are identified with the grounding symbol.

For FR4/FI4 and FR5: Two protective conductors are necessary to comply with the requirements of the standard IEC/EN
61800-5-1. See
6.2
Grounding.

If a double grounding is necessary, use the grounding terminal below the drive. Use an M5 screw and tighten it to 2.0 Nm or
17.7 lb-in.
7. Attach the cable cover
