PCU operating elements

11.2.1

Write protect slide switch

With the slide switch (see section 11.1.1, Description of the elements, No.
15), the configuration data of the Power Control can be protected against
write attempts.
To configure Power Control, the slide switch must be in OFF position.
After successful configuration, set the slide switch to ON to prevent abuse or
mistaken reconfiguration.

Modbus address coding switch

With the address coding switch, the Modbus client ID of the PCU is set.
The client ID is required for the configuration of the PCU in the WEB`log.
11.2.3

Modbus bus termination switch

With the termination switch, the Modbus can be physically completed.
This is only required if the PCU is operated in the Modbus RTU mode as the
last device.

Installation

11.3.1

Safety instructions for installation

The data loggers must only be connected by a qualified electrician.

If the write protection is set to ON, no configurations can be
made to Modbus devices. This affects the PCU as well as
possible additional devices and inverters, which are
connected via Modbus.
Death in the event of electric shock or severe injury with
irreversible damage.
De-energize the power cable and take measures to prevent it from
being re-energized.
