Details on the PCU interface configuration

6.3.1

PCU IP configuration

If the PCU is connected to the WEB`log via TCP, depending on the
architecture of the PV system IP network the IP settings of the PCU need to
be changed (IP address, subnet mask).
The meteocontrol device manager service program is required for
configuration. The program can be downloaded from the meteocontrol
download area.
6.3.2

PCU serial configuration

If the PCU is connected to the WEB`log serially via the Modbus RTU, the
Modbus client ID on the device or on the PCU may have to be changed.
Every Modbus client ID may be assigned only once.
This depends on the architecture of the PV system IP network (Modbus
structure and client IDs assigned).
By default, the PCU is serially (Modbus RTU) connected to the WEB`log.
(see section 11.3.3.4 Connection PCU with WEB`log PRO, Modbus RTU).
