7.5 Connect cables for sensors, actuators and power supply to the connector

● SIMATIC CFU PA bundle with aluminum enclosure:
Also remove the sheath of the PA bus cables in the area of the shield terminals:
Bottom terminals: Remove the sheath in the area between 150 mm to
165 mm
Top terminals: Remove the sheath in the area between 140 mm to 155 mm
● Stripping cable for connectors with screw-type terminals: 7 mm
● Stripping cable for connectors with push-in terminals: 10 mm
Compact the wires or use wire end fer‐
rules.
Observe the following table.
Connect the cables to the plug.
● Connecting the cable using push-in terminals (Page 46)
● Connecting cables using screw terminals (Page 47)
