Overview
The IPPC-6152A/IPPC-6172A/IPPC-6192A card watchdog timer can be used to
monitor the software operation and take corrective action after the predefined interval
in the event of a software failure.
The watchdog timer is built into the NCT6776D I/O controller and provides the follow-
ing functions for user programming:
1.
Can be enabled/disabled via a software program
2.
The timer interval can be set as 1 ~ 255 seconds
3.
Generates an interrupt or reset signal if the software fails to reset the timer after
the timeout period

Watchdog Timer Programming
The watchdog timer's I/O port address is 2E (hex) and the data port address is 2F
(hex).
