Preparation for Operation
Memory Settings
Select this choice to manually enable bank of memory and to enable or
disable Memory Mirroring.
If a memory error is detected during POST or memory configuration, the
server can automatically disable the failing memory bank and continue
operating with reduced memory capacity.
After the problem is corrected, you must manually enable the memory bank
after the problem is corrected. Select Memory Settings from the Advanced
Setup menu, use the arrow keys to highlight the SMP-Module that you want
to enable; then, use the arrow keys to select Enable.
CPU Options
Select this choice to enable or disable the Hyper-Threading Technology and
to select the clustering technology settings.
PCI Slot/Device Information
Select this choice to view system resources that are used by installed
PCI/PCI-X devices. PCI/PCI-X devices are usually configured automatically.
This information is saved when you exit. The Save Settings, Restore Settings,
and Load Default Settings choices on the Configuration/Setup Utility main
menu do not save the PCI Slot/Device Information settings.
RSA II Settings
Select this choice to view and change RSA-II settings.
You can also view the MAC address and set the IP address, subnet mask
address, gateway information and the DHCP control.
The default (factory set) IP address for the RSA-II is 192.168.0.10.

DHCP control must always be set to Use Static IP.
Moreover, you must select the USB operating mode in accordance with your
operating system (Linux or other).
If the USB operating mode is not set correctly, RSA-II management
i
will either not work properly or not work at all.
Select Save Values and Reboot RSA II to save the changes you have made in
the settings and restart the RSA-II.
Selecting <<<RESTORE RSA II DEFAULTS>>> will set all parameters in this
section to the values described in the RSA-II user manual, section "Config-
uring an Ethernet connection to the RSA-II.
