Error Controls and Indicators
Action
Ê Save the log if necessary and
clear it (see "Event/Error Logs"
on page 61).
Ê Check the log for possible errors
(see "Event/Error Logs" on
page 61).
Ê Remove the memory card with
the lit error LED on the top of the
card; then, press the light path
button on the memory card to
identify the failed card or DIMM.
Ê If one of the DIMM error LEDs
on the memory card is on, have
system serviced.
Ê See the BMC log and the
system-error log (see
"Event/Error Logs" on page 61).
Ê If the PCI LED is lit, follow the
instructions for that LED.
Ê If the MEM LED is lit, follow the
instructions for that LED.
Ê Restart the server.
Ê If problem persists, have system
serviced.
Ê See the BMC log or the system-
error log (see "Event/Error
Logs" on page 61).
Ê If problem cannot be traced,
have the system serviced.
Ê Call for service.
