Removing Air Duct

Remove the air duct when installing or removing the following component or changing internal cable connection:
DIMM (memory module)
2.5-inch additional HDD cage
1. See steps 1 to 8 in Chapter 2 (1.2 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2. Lift the air duct, and remove it from the server.
Processor (CPU)
Important
Before removing the air duct, pull the cables upward and remove it. Otherwise,
cables may be damaged if they are pulled together with air duct.
