TECH TiP: Excess vibration and noise can
be caused by the blower housing coming in
contact with the base of the dryer cabinet.
Using an appliance dolly or hand truck on
the motor side or front of the dryer during
transportation or installation of an uncrated
dryer can bend the dryer base enough
to create this contact. To reduce excess
vibration, reshape the base of the dryer
with a hammer in the area that the blower
housing is located.
