Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Remove the 5/16" hex head screw that
secures the Earth wire to the back of the
collar and pull it into the collar.
NOTE: Earth screws are green in color and
have fine threads to grip tightly.
2. From inside the collar, disconnect the two
wire connector with locking clip.
3. Slide the clip down that secures the strain
relief in the hole in the collar and pull the
power cord out the back of the collar.
NOTE: The power cord is equipped with a
universal adapter plug. Up to three adapters
for various electrical outlet configurations
are supplied with the dryer. Select the
appropriate configuration for the installation
and attach it to the universal adapter.

1. Disconnect the gas or electric service and
disconnect the vent.
2. Remove the service panel (See page 4-56).
3. Remove the facia (See page 4-50).
4. Disconnect upper dryer power supply
(See page 4-55).
5. Remove two T-40 screws and washers in
the front two corners behind the service
panel of the upper dryer. The washers are
shouldered and should be reinstalled with
the smaller end facing down.
TECH TiP: Cover the top front edge of the
collar with tape, just to the outside of each
