3. Click Next to begin the calibration process.
4. Click (to toggle) the type of calibration intended. Choose from among the 
following:
Proximity scaling: use this type of calibration if a proximity probe has been replaced. A
machined, perfectly round, multiple-OD calibration rod must be available to the user to com-
plete this type of calibration.
Ultrasonic sensor offset: use this type of calibration if the coiled tubing (pipe) size changes. A
machined, perfectly round, multiple-OD calibration rod must be available to the user to com-
plete the calibration of the ultrasonic sensor offset.
Proximity offset: use this type of calibration if the coiled tubing (pipe) size changes. Coiled
tubing is used in this type of calibration, rather than the calibration rod used in the other two
calibration types. The operator must know the OD of the coiled tubing between the proximity
sensors.
Click Next to continue.
If the coiled tubing (pipe) size changes, both the ultrasonic sensor offset and proximity offset calibrations
must be consecutively completed.
