Lube Tank: Fill-side View
Directional Control
Valve
In the above photo, the sight level, drain valve, float switch, air-input supply for the pump, and lubrica-
tion-output connection on the control valve are shown.
The sight level is clear, flexible, PVC tube, which will not shatter.

Lube Tank Kit Installation

Mount the tank by drilling one hole in each of the mounting tabs on the bottom of each end of the tank.
Then bolt the tank securely to a level surface. The tank's mounting location is the installer's choice,
though the recommended location is in front of the coiled tubing reel. It is important that the operator
have easy access to the oiler lines so that their connection to the oiler assemblies is easily accom-
plished. It is also important that the operator have access to the air supply line.

Connecting Hoses to the Lube Tank Kit

After the equipment is mounted, hoses are attached. Hoses are typically provided by users, because
field-operation hosing-length requirements vary. These, therefore, are not provided with the Lube Tank
kit.
Both hydraulic and air hoses are required. These hoses and their specifications are described in the
schematic in Appendix B: Lube Tank Kit: Hydraulic Control Valve Schematic).
