Chapter 2: Overview of the Argus TubeSpec System
General System Description
Comprised of a measuring head, packer pressure control system, DSP control box, mounting system, lubri-
cation system, and OrionNET software, the Argus TubeSpec provides a complete coiled tubing wall-thick-
ness inspection system. For proper functioning of the system, all system components must be installed and
used according to the specifications described in Introduction to the Argus TubeSpec.
Additional equipment required: 24 VDC power supply (see System Requirements for additional informa-
tion). Equipment-specific operating and connection manuals are provided by the suppliers.
