4-6 Paint Menu

The PAINT menu contains a collection of paint
adjustment items, such as white adjustment.
Up to five groups of painting data (scene files) may be
saved for scenes to be shot. (SCENE FILE page)
For information on performing settings, see "4-3-1 Basic
Operation of the Setup Menus" on page 4-7(E).

R, G, and B gain adjustment

R, G, B, and master black level adjustment

R, G, B, and master gamma correction curve adjustment
ON, OFF
Sets flare correction circuit to ON or OFF
1, 2, OFF
Selects test signal
1: Sawtooth wave test output
2: Three-step waveform test output
OFF: No test signal output
Push the MENU SEL
Resets all VIDEO LEVEL page settings to 0.
control to execute
(When the MENU SEL control is pushed, the CLEAR display
will blink. Pushing the MENU SEL control again will execute
the clear; pressing the CANCEL button will cancel.)
ON, OFF
Turns ON or OFF the feature of adding a detail signal for
resolution enhancement
–99 to +99
Sets the overall level of the detail signal
–99 to +99
Sets the clipping level for an excessive value of the detail
signal
–99 to +99
Sets the level of crispening added to the detail signal
–99 to +99
Sets the mixing ratio of the horizontal and vertical detail
signals
–99 to +99
Sets the frequency of the horizontal detail signal
–99 to +99
Sets the level at which the amount of detail is suppressed
in areas of low level

Sets the level dependancy feature to ON or OFF
Push the MENU SEL
Resets all Detail1 page settings to 0.

Chapter 4 Adjustments and Settings for Recording
Move the VF DISP switch from OFF to MENU
while pushing the MENU SEL control.
The TOP menu screen will be displayed.
Rotate the MENU SEL control to align the "n"
marker with the Paint position.
Push the MENU SEL control.
The PAINT menu will be displayed.
