If the Current Alarms screen displays the Carrier Pressure Low alarm, confirm
that the carrier gas supply is on and that the pressure regulator is set to 90 PSI (620
kPa). If the alarm persists, see the Troubleshooting section. Because this is the first
time that the GC has been turned on, the other alarms can be ignored.

A red alarm icon should be visible in the lower right corner of
the Home screen.
Press 2 on the keypad to open the Alarms screen.
Confirm that the alarm that was triggered was the Heater 1 Out
Of Range alarm. Other possibly triggered alarms are the GC
Idle alarm, Carrier Pressure Low alarm, and the Power
Failure alarm.
Press 2 to acknowledge and clear the alarm.
Press the exit key to return to the Home screen.
