Overhaul the sample shut-off valve

Tools required
Perform this procedure in a clean environment. When removing the
components from the valve, place them onto a clean work surface to
avoid contaminating the valve internals.
This procedure assumes that you have removed the analytical
module from the GC.

A sample shut-off valve overhaul kit (#7A00TBA).
• A 2.5 mm hex or allen wrench.
• A no-residue, evaporating electrical contact cleaner.
Remove the heater cap from the module.
Use the 2.5 mm hex or allen wrench to remove the two
mounting screws (2) on the sample shut-off (SSO) valve (1).
