The lid switch is located under the top of
the washer. This picture shows the action
of the lid hinge and the lid switch. The
washer front does not need to be removed
to remove the lid switch.

Open the control panel, (See page 4-1).
2.
Remove two Phillips head screws that
secure the lid switch to the washer top.

Remove the 5/16 inch hex head screw that
secures the lid switch ground wire.
