1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Remove the control panel and position it
back out of the way (see page 4-2 for the
procedure).

3. Lift the locking tab, and disconnect the
main harness from the lid switch connec-
tor (see the top right photo).
4. Remove the 5/16˝ hex-head screw from
the green ground wire on the lid switch.

5. Lift the washer lid so it is straight up.
6. Release the locking tab and pull the lid
switch up and out of the cabinet top open-
ing.
