Installing Cable Retractors (Optional)

Extron cable retractors retract and neatly store cables in Cable Cubby systems, preventing them
from tangling underneath the table. Retractor kits are available for many cable types. Up to six
retractors can be installed in the TLP Pro 725C enclosure (three on each end). They are not
provided with the touchpanel and must be purchased separately.
It is difficult to mount the Cable Cubby into the table after the Retractors have been installed so
Extron recommends the following procedure:
1.
Slide the Retractor bracket
into the enclosure (see
figure 11, ).

2. Secure the bracket to the
enclosure with the provided
#6-32 pan-head screws and
star washers ( ).

3. Mount the enclosure into the
table (see Mounting the TLP
Pro 725C Enclosure on the
previous page).
4. From under the table, insert
the Retractors into the
bracket ( 3 ) and secure them
with the mounting pin and clip
( 4 ).
5.
Secure the locking screw on
each Retractor ( 5 ).
To mount the retractors horizontally and for further information and installation instructions,
see the Retractors User Guide, which is available at www.extron.com. The guide also
provides information about mounting the retractors at a 30° angle to satisfy ADA compliance
requirements.
