Problem:
Occurs when transport is jammed while Print Head is
energized.
Cause:
A card jam or a jammed drive belt.
Operator
Remove jammed card. For mechanical problems
Action:
contact NBS Service Rep.
Problem:
Problem occurred during printing process.
Cause:
Jammed card, bad Print Head Motor, or bad Print Head.
Operator
Remove jammed card. For mechanical problems
Action:
contact NBS Service Rep.
Problem:
Print speed still changing while trying to print.
Cause:
"Head Down Count" needs to be increased.
Operator
If password allows, check and correct "Head Down
Count" as required.
Action:
Problem:
Communications error between Main Logic Board and
Servo Board.
Cause:
Bad or loose cable, bad Servo Board, bad Main Logic
Board.
Operator
For mechanical problems contact NBS Service Rep.
Action:
Problem:
Picker or Stacker motion not detected.
Cause:
Card jammed in the transport system, or a Bad motor, or
a bad sensor.
Operator
Remove jammed card(s). For mechanical problems
Action:
contact NBS Service Rep.
Problem:
Card did not try to move when trying to pick or stack.
Cause:
Jammed card, bad sensor, or empty Hopper (for Picker).
Operator
If Hopper is empty load more blank cards, remove
jammed card(s). For mechanical problems contact
Action:
NBS Service Rep.
