4.7.1: Barcode Name
Similar to "Font Name", "Barcode Name" gives a list of all available barcode formats stored in the
firmware of the D-40 printer. Any may be selected by pressing the left/right arrow keys until the
desired barcode format is displayed.
4.7.2: X & Y Coordinates
The next two parameters – "X & Y coordinates" – work together to determine the starting points
of the field in inches. They are referenced in relation to an imaginary point (origin) in the upper
left hand corner of the card. The placement of the field (along with font size and steps) affects
the number of characters, which may be printed. The "X & Y coordinates" refers to its baseline
position.
4.7.3: Height
"Height" refers to the height of the barcode line. (This relates to the Y coordinate.) The
maximum any line can be is 2.25 inches.
