INSPECTION ('13 MODEL)
MIL DOES NOT COME ON AND FUEL PUMP DOES
NOT OPERATE (ECM DOES NOT OPERATE)
• Before starting the inspection, check for loose or
poor contact on the ECM connectors, and recheck
the MIL blinking.
• Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
1. Fuselnspection
Check for a blown fuse.
Is the fuse blown?
YES
- Replace the fuse.
NO
- GO TO STEP 2.
2. ECM Ground Line Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 21 P (Gray) connector and 5P
connector.
Check for continuity between the ECM 5P connector
[1] of the wire harness side and ground.
TOOL:
Test probe, 2 pack

CONNECTION: Green - Ground
Green/black - Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
- GO TO STEP 3.
NO
- • Open circuit in the Green wire
• Open circuit in the Green/black wire

Sensor Unit Power Input Line Short Circuit
Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the sensor unit 5P (Black) connector.
Check for continuity between the sensor unit 5P
(Black) connector [1] of the wire harness side and
ground.
CONNECTION: Yellow/orange - Ground
STANDARD:
No continuity
Is there continuity?
YES
- Short circuit in the Yellow/orange wire
NO
- GO TO STEP 4.
