More About
the
RESOL key
This key
allows
you to
select
or display
the number
of
significa
nt
decimal
pla
ces
displayed
on
the
Measurement
Di
splay
unit
during
a
measurement.
This
key
also
set
s
the
"s
moothing" function
"o n" or "off".
You
can
use
the
RESDl
key
at
any
time, without
loss of
measurement
data
.
To

To

key.
Pressing
the
key again
sends
the
laser
Measurement System ba
ck
to the
cu
rrent measurement mode.
Resolution
limits
are different for each
measurement
mode,
and,
except as noted below,
English
unit resolution
is
one
place
greater
than
the
metri
c
equivalent.
You

n

viewing
the
current resolution and

hing the ENGLISH

METRIC

itch

n the Measurement Di splay
unit's
rear
panel from one

to the
other.
