I/O assignment
After the inputs and outputs of the CPX terminal are configured, they can be depicted in the variables of
a higher-order controller.
1. In the Physical View in "Project Explorer", click with the right mouse key on the CPX terminal.
A function menu opens.
2. Select "Open I/O Mapping".
All inputs and outputs are displayed in the "I/O Mapping" work book and can be assigned to the
higher-order controller.
The depiction does not correspond to the actual arrangement of the CPX modules.
