5. Expand the entry of one of the module types or status bits to be configured or the I/O diagnostics
interface.
For each module type, several entries are provided with a size of 1 byte (8 bit) each
( Fig. 3.18).

6. Activate the parameter "Cyclic transmission" corresponding to the required number of inputs and
outputs.
– input module: "Read"
– output module: "Write".
With 2 digital input modules with 8 inputs (16 bits) each, the first two entries "Digital-
Input_8Bit_I6000_Sxx" must be activated, for example.

7. Repeat the steps 5. and 6. for all modules of the CPX terminal correspondingly.
8. Save the project to take over the I/O configuration.
