For security purposes, the TLV can be hidden, preventing someone from viewing all the switching points the
pseudowire traverses.
Virtual Circuit Connection Verification (VCCV) may not work on multisegment pseudowires with the
switching-tlv parameter set to "hide". For more information on VCCV, see the
